Filet Mignon With Pasilla Chile BBQ Sauce
Beef
4 filet mignon steaks; (8 ounces each)
Salt and freshly ground black pepper;
to taste

***PASILLA CHILE BBQ SAUCE***
1 1/2 cups New Mexico-style BBQ Sauce
2 tablespoons maple syrup
2 tablespoons pasilla
chili powder
1/4 cup chopped cilantro
Mix all ingredients well and marinate filets for 1 hour. Prepare a wood or charcoal grill and let burn down to embers.
