1/2 cup brown sugar
3 centiliters crushed garlic
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
3 tablespoons mustard
1/4 cup cider vinegar
3 tablespoons lemon juice
6 tablespoons olive oil

This is a marinade recipe that greatly diminishes the cancer-causing compounds on grilled food. It's the combination of these ingredients that make it work, so you can adjust them a bit to taste--just don't leave any out.
