1 1/2 cups cider vinegar
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt

Combine in a bowl and stir to dissolve sugar. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
