Another Smoked Brisket Rub
Rubs
2 tablespoons non-iodized salt
2 tablespoons course black pepper
1 tablespoon chipotle powder or cayenne; a poor substitute
1 tablespoon ground cumin
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon brown sugar
Wet brisket with lemon juice, then put on the rub. Smoke for 18 hours or
until tender.
Yield: 1 serving
